Overview#

The Simulation Interoperability Workbench provides a single operational surface for exercise controllers and simulation operators who need visibility into distributed simulation standards, protocol bridges, and message interoperability during training and mission rehearsal. It combines simulation standards such as DIS and HLA RTI with JANUS, NPIF, and structured messaging utilities so that exercise teams can supervise interoperability from one workbench.

The goal is to reduce fragmentation between simulation-control tooling and mission-message infrastructure, especially in environments where synthetic training systems must stay aligned with operational data standards.
