Overview#
Reviewed Live Call Facts gives call takers one place to confirm the critical facts of an emergency call while it is still live: where the caller is, what is happening, how to call them back and who is involved. Each fact shows where it came from, whether the caller, the telephone network, a connected device, a transferring centre or the AI assistant supplied it, and the call taker confirms, corrects or rejects it.
Every decision is stored as a new revision with the person who made it, the reason and the time. Nothing is overwritten, so a supervisor or an inquiry can see what was proposed, what the call taker accepted and when the reviewed value changed.
Alongside the fact review, the console streams a compact live picture of the call's intelligence and flags converging reports: independent calls that appear to describe the same event. For buyers, the module turns AI assistance into reviewable evidence with a human decision at every critical point. For operators, it reduces duplicate incidents during major events and makes it obvious which facts are still waiting for a person to check them.

Key Features#
- Critical Fact Review: Location, incident type, priority, caller name, callback number, hazards, injuries, people at risk, persons involved and access notes each appear with their current proposal, its source and, where available, a confidence value. The call taker confirms, corrects or rejects each one, and the panel shows how many facts are still to review.
- Source Attribution: Each proposal records whether it came from the caller, the network's number and location data, a device, a transfer or the AI assistant, together with the time it was observed.
- Append-Only Revisions: Every review creates a new revision with the reviewer, the reason and the time. Earlier revisions are kept, so the history of each fact can be read back.
- Reviewed Value Shown Clearly: Once a fact has been reviewed, the reviewed value and the reason are shown in place of the raw proposal. When no proposal exists the panel says so.
- Live Call Intelligence Stream: A small, bounded snapshot of the call's intelligence is kept up to date and streamed to the console, so the call taker sees changes without reloading and without the call's history growing without limit.
- Converging Reports Signal: When independent callers describe the same place and situation, the call packet shows a related reports badge with a signal score out of 100 and the reasons: same incident, nearby location fixes, location match, type match, transcript match and recent reports.
- Linking with Care: The signal advises the call taker to verify before linking. If a related report is already linked to an incident the console says which one, and if related reports point to several incidents it asks the call taker to check the correct event on the common operating picture first.
- Graceful Failure: If facts cannot be read, the panel says they are unavailable and offers a retry, so a missing panel is never mistaken for a call with nothing to review.
Use Cases#
Confirming Location Under Pressure#
A caller gives a street name while the network reports a location several hundred metres away. The call taker sees both with their sources, confirms the caller's address after questioning, and records why. Dispatch uses the reviewed location.
Major Incident with Many Callers#
During a large fire, dozens of people call about the same building. The converging reports signal shows that new calls match the existing incident by place, type and transcript, so call takers link them instead of creating duplicates.
Quality Review#
A quality reviewer reads the fact history of a call and sees which AI proposals were accepted, which were corrected and why, supporting coaching and the assurance of AI use.
Audiences#
- Call takers and dispatchers in emergency communications centres.
- Supervisors and quality reviewers who assess call handling.
- Governance and AI assurance teams who need evidence of human oversight.
Integration#
The module is part of the emergency call handling console. It draws on caller location services, the AI call assistant, call transfers and connected devices, and its reviewed values feed incident creation, dispatch and the common operating picture. Fact revisions are retained with the call record for quality assurance and recording review.
Open Standards#
- NENA i3 and PIDF-LO (RFC 4119): network-supplied location arrives in standard presence location formats and is attributed to its source.
- EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689): human review of AI-proposed facts supports human oversight obligations.
- W3C PROV-DM: each revision records the agent, activity and source, matching a standard provenance model.
- ISO 8601: observation and review times use a standard date-time representation.
