Overview#

- GraphQL (June 2018 specification): all training course, certification, assignment, onboarding, and FTO data is queried and mutated exclusively through a typed GraphQL API, enabling strongly-typed introspection and predictable pagination for accreditation evidence exports.
- OAuth 2.0 (RFC 6749) / JWT (RFC 7519): every training and certification endpoint requires a signed JWT bearer token; role-based permission checks enforce that only the employee, their supervisor, or an administrator can read or modify training records.
- ISO 8601: all certification issue and expiry dates, training assignment due dates, and scheduling timestamps are stored and exchanged in ISO 8601 format, ensuring unambiguous ordering of renewal windows across time zones.
- ISO 19005-3 (PDF/A-3): compliance and accreditation evidence reports are generated as PDF/A-3B archival documents with machine-readable JSON embedded, satisfying court-admissible and auditor-ready retention requirements.
- IANA Media Types (RFC 2046): training document attachments, certificate files, and digital policy acknowledgement records are typed using standard MIME media-type identifiers, permitting correct rendering and virus scanning by downstream systems.
- CSV (RFC 4180): bulk import and export of training records, certification status, and officer profiles interoperates with supported HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Kronos, and others) via RFC 4180-compliant comma-separated files.
- ISO 4217: training course cost fields use ISO 4217 three-letter currency codes (defaulting to EUR) so cost-per-person figures are portable across multi-jurisdiction deployments without ambiguity.
