Overview#

The Connector domain manages integrations with external data sources, providing a centralized catalog of available connectors, enable/disable functionality, and connection testing capabilities. It supports various data source types including SIEM systems, threat intelligence feeds, OSINT sources, blockchain networks, and custom APIs.

Key Features#

  • Centralized data source catalog with status monitoring and health tracking
  • Dynamic enable/disable of data sources without configuration deletion
  • Connection testing with authentication validation, sample query execution, and latency measurement
  • Support for SIEM, threat intelligence, OSINT, blockchain, cloud logs, endpoint, network, and custom API integrations
  • Credential management with secure storage and rotation support
  • Connector health monitoring with automatic status updates
  • Organization-scoped data source management with tenant isolation
  • Ingestion pipeline integration for automatic start/stop on toggle

Use Cases#

  1. Managing and monitoring external data source integrations from an admin panel
  2. Testing data source connectivity and credentials before enabling ingestion
  3. Temporarily disabling a misbehaving connector without losing configuration
  4. Monitoring connector health and performance across the organization

Integration#

Integrates with data source definitions, ingestion pipelines, and monitoring systems. Supports organization-level multi-tenancy for connector management.
